Yesterday 29th May 2023 was a historical day in Uganda when HE. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni assented to the Anti homosexuality law that is aimed at curbing all LGBTQ activities in the matooke republic.
Museveni’s act left shameless homosexuals globally sneezing which even attracted the United States to cancel the visas of Rt Hon Speaker of Uganda Anita Annet Among. As if this was not enough, panicky US homosexuals went ahead and issued a statement threatening to cut aid to Uganda over what they call a violation of human rights.
“The enactment of Uganda’s Anti-Homosexuality Act is a tragic violation of universal human rights one that is not worthy of the Ugandan people, and one that jeopardizes the prospects of critical economic growth for the entire country. I join with people around the world including many in Uganda in calling for its immediate repeal,” reads a statement inked by Biden issued by the White House.
“I have directed my National Security Council to evaluate the implications of this law on all aspects of U.S. engagement with Uganda, including our ability to safely deliver services under the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and other forms of assistance and investments. My Administration will also incorporate the impacts of the law into our review of Uganda’s eligibility for the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA). And we are considering additional steps, including the application of sanctions and restriction of entry into the United States against anyone involved in serious human rights abuses or corruption,” added the statement.
Now the above left a couple of Pan Africanists globally fuming venom among them including Uganda’s famous Pan Africanist dubbed Founding Chairman and Speaker of Pan African Pyramid (PAP), Andrew Irumba Katusabe who believes that West should mind their business and stop poking their noses in matters concerning African values and norms.

“I SPEAK WHAT OTHERS FEAR!
Dear H.E. Joe Biden, there are countries in the Arab world whose laws for centuries up to today do not allow women to drive cars, get an education or do any job other than house chores. There are still Sharia Laws in those countries where if a woman is caught in adultery, the punishment is death, but men can have as many women. In those same countries, a thief is punished by chopping off their hands. But America and European Union are their biggest business partners. Recently, in Qatar, the world cup, LGBTQ promoters died mysteriously. How far have you gone with sanctions on Qatar?!
In Uganda, a homosexual will be presented before a court and tried and sentenced if found guilty. But you want to make this a very big issue because it’s in Africa (you believe we’re your small boys), however, all the above atrocities mentioned above are happening elsewhere outside Africa and you pretend not to be aware.
And if you want us to talk about Human Rights (for which you have no moral authority by the way), let’s talk about Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, what type of ice cream does your ‘factory’ produce in Guantanamo Bay?!
On a lighter note, I have just learned from you that now the community has grown to add on an ‘I+’ LGBTQI+! You guys are growing by the day, we pray you don’t finish all the alphabet for us
STAY IN YOUR LANE MR BIDEN, IN AFRICA WE HAVE CULTURES, TRADITIONS & NORMS. Sorry that you’ve none.”
