In June this year Paul was appointed as Peace Ambassador and posted to East Africa by the United Nations Peace keeping mission, after over a decade of his selfless involvement in numerous successful peace initiatives across Africa and beyond that aim at creating lasting peace and stability, but also household development through his foundation.

Flynn, under hid Gro foundation has contributed immensely in millions of dollars in the planting of trees across Africa in a bid to control carbon emissions and preserve green environment.

Under his GRO Foundation, Flynn is championing a global campaign to plant 1 billion trees by 2030 and connect local communities to the global carbon market. Paul, for over a decade, has traveled the world launching projects with a focus on East Africa, South East Asia, Latin America and India, where he has already planted millions of trees with a target of 1 billion trees by 2030.

As the newly planted trees grow, they offset carbon emissions and harvest ISO-certified carbon certificates, which they sell to individuals, corporations, and global brands, and use part of the proceeds to establish livelihood projects such as small hold farms, fruit farms, food forests, fish farms, animal and bee keeping, education fund, healthcare support and clean water facilities to less privileged communities in Africa.

Paul Flynn has not only saved the environment by advocating for tree planting but has also directly touched millions of lives across Africa and beyond through his philanthropism. His full time calling and passion is to save environment for a better co-existence with fauna and flora on planet earth.
